Guebwiller and around

Le Grand Petit Prince et  Domaine Bohème are ideally located South of Alsace at the heart of the famous Wine Road " la Route des Vins" in the charming city of Guebwiller.

With friends or family or just the two of you, our locations are perfect for an Alsatian getaway !

Guebwiller is a charming city counting around 11 900 inhabitants and benefits from a great startegic location at the border with Germany and Swiss. You can easily fly to us by using Basel Mulhouse Freiburg International Airport.

What we love the most about our city is the close proximity with nature ! You will be surrunded by the forest on one side and vineyards on the other side of the valley also called " Vallée du Florival". Guebwiller is also great for wine lovers. In fact,  the city is the hometown of one of the largest wine family estate : Domaine Schlumberger .

Both of our estates are close enough to the forest and perfect if you are looking for amazing hikes. The world-kown pilgrim trail "Way of St James" is just around the corner.

What is also great is that you could find most needed facilities in Guebwiller :  restaurants, supermarkets, wine shops, cheese shop
( the best ! Qui l'Eut Cru ), renowned pastries shops ( Dany Husser ), wine estates , parcs with a remarkable collection of trees ...

Finally, for those who still have some time to stroll across the typical and traditional Alsatian villages, we are only appr. 20 min to Colmar/ Riquewihr/Kaysersberg and Mulhouse.

Not far from here and even from your window, you should be able to see this majestic vineyards. Located on 50° steeps with height from 250m to 390 m, the Schlumberger vineyard is certainly one of the most remarkable in Alsace. Not only by its appearance but also because of the rare combination of 4 Grands Crus, 50% of their estate ! Don't hesitate to book a tasting on their website. The experience is always very unique and they do an amazing job.

The " Adventure Tour" is our favorite !

Domaine
Loberger

It is surely one of the nicest discovery that we have made ! Céline, the daughter is currently the one in charge of the estate besides her dad. They are part of the very selective circle of "vignerons-récoltants" ( they grow and make wine out of their own vineyards ONLY )

The family estate is very small, about 8 ha of vineyards. They only grew the grapes following very strict protocoles of biodynamie ( no chemicals + no additives to the wines including yeast and sugar) Their creed : Passion and savoir-faire for authentic and rare wines.
