The region
Guebwiller and its surroundings
Our two estates, Le Grand Petit Prince and Domaine Bohème, are ideally located in the south of Alsace, at the heart of the Wine Route in the charming town of Guebwiller.
Whether you are traveling with family, as a couple, or with friends, the region of Guebwiller is the ideal destination for an Alsatian getaway. This pretty little town of about 11,900 inhabitants benefits from a privileged location at the foot of the Grand Ballon (the highest point of the Vosges Massif at 1424m) and extends harmoniously along the slopes of the famous Domaine Schlumberger vineyard on one side and the Florival valley or "Valley of Flowers" and protected forest on the other. We also enjoy a strategic location, as we are about forty minutes from Switzerland and Germany and easily accessible via the Basel Mulhouse Freiburg International Airport.
Whether you stay in one of our vacation homes in the heart of the forest or in one of our unusual accommodations in the city center, you will always be surrounded by nature. There are many hiking trails starting from our accommodations. The Way of St. James is right outside your door. It is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers seeking a change of scenery and greenery!
The town also offers all amenities: supermarkets, wine shops, a cheese shop (the best! Qui l'Eut Cru), traditional and exotic restaurants, renowned pastry shops (Dany Husser), wineries, and two magnificent parks with a beautiful collection of remarkable trees...
Finally, for those who take the time to explore, we are only about twenty minutes from Colmar and Mulhouse as well as typical Alsatian villages!

Domaine
Schlumberger
Domaine
Loberger
Favorite!
Currently run by Céline Loberger, the estate is part of the small circle of "winegrowers-harvesters". It has barely 8 hectares of vineyards and is managed with respect for biodynamic agriculture on renowned hills such as the Grands Crus: Kitterle, Spiegel, and Saering. Their credo: Passion and know-how for an authentic result and expressive wines. Note that this is a very small estate, so it is essential to make an appointment to organize a tasting.
Mulhouse
Don't miss visiting the city of Mulhouse during your trip to Alsace!
Often overlooked, Mulhouse is definitely worth a visit. A great destination for museum visits (car museum or printing on fabric museum), a great city for local shopping with many concept stores, a gastronomic getaway with a wide choice of restaurants from around the world!
It is also a lovely getaway for urban art enthusiasts.
Colmar and surroundings
A must-visit in Colmar. Discover the absolute charm of this lovely Alsatian town. Stroll through the streets and enjoy the charm and conviviality that emanate from this typical Alsatian town with its colorful half-timbered houses...
Take the opportunity to discover the surrounding typical villages: Eguisheim, Kaysersberg. Riquewihr...
Restaurant Les 3 colonnes, Rouffach
Perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. This restaurant is certainly one of our best discoveries ... fresh seasonal products, a talented chef, top-notch staff, and a beautiful setting ... all at great value for money.
100% made with love and good humor!
Restaurant Alchémille Jérôme Jaegle
The marriage of nature and French gastronomy. Hats off to Chef Jérôme Jaegle.
Le Grand Ballon
Culminating at 1424 m, Le Grand Ballon is the highest point of the Vosges Massif on the Route des Crêtes.
A magnificent viewpoint over the Alsace plain, the Black Forest, and on a clear day, the Alps!
Highly prized by hiking enthusiasts, Le Grand Ballon is accessible in about twenty minutes by car from our estates or on foot for the more adventurous! Guaranteed fresh air.
Le Markstein
On the Route des Crêtes and a few kilometers from Le Grand Petit Prince and Domaine Bohème, the Markstein resort is appreciated by the whole family. In summer, you can go on beautiful hikes or summer tobogganing, and in winter you can enjoy a family ski resort!
Urban and Street Art Museum - MAUSA Vauban
An atypical and high-quality museum.
Located inside the ramparts of the Vauban citadel of Neuf-Brisach, internationally renowned artists have invested no less than 1200m² of a former casemate to create the MAUSA Vauban. A trip worth the detour.

Stroll from one little house to another, stop by the potter, the blacksmith, or the barber, and immerse yourself in the life of yesteryear!
